Two Homework in Jakarta Still Being Tackled

Jakarta Governor, Basuki T Purnama disclosed, there are still homework that must be completed on the city's 489 anniversary. Among them are traffic jam and bureaucracy.

Our main homework is traffic jam and bureaucracy that still dirtied by cheating action

"Our main homework is traffic jam and bureaucracy that still dirtied by cheating action," he stated, at City Hall, Monday (6/13).

To overcome traffic jam, he does not want to add to the road ratio. His party prefers to develop public transportation, such as Bus Rapid Transit (BRT), Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) and Light Rail Transit (LRT).

Jakarta Needs Citizens Support for Its Improvement

Starting today, to maximize Transjakarta bus service, he had a policy to sterilize Transjakarta lanes. While for bureaucracy matter, he assessed, many officials still play, especially in term of land procurement.

"Almost land procurement goes wrong lately. I still smell land mafia here," he stressed.

He keeps fixing bureaucracy in the capital. One of them is by maximizing service in One-Stop Integrated Service (PTSP). It is hoped able to help residents in processing licensing
